Kim Ye-won joins legal drama Suspicious Partner, Chansung to do cameo

Kim Ye-won (Tomorrow with You) has been confirmed to join Ji Chang-wook (The K2) and Nam Ji-hyun’s (Shopping King Louis) legal romance Suspicious Partner.

Kim Ye-won, best known for playing cutesy and comedic characters, will portray Nam Ji-hyun’s training colleague  who will get entangled with her and Ji Chang-wook in a complicated love triangle.

2PM’s Chansung (Ms. Temper and Nam Jung-ki) will also make a cameo appearance in the first episode of the drama, playing as Nam Ji-hyun’s ex-boyfriend.

The upcoming drama will focus on the love story of a martial artist turned prosecutor played by Nam Ji-hyun and a prosecutor turned lawyer portrayed by Ji Chang-wook.

The anticipation for the show is extra high as it will be Ji Chang-wook’s last project before his enlistment for the mandatory military service. Plus, Wookie’s character as a lawyer will also be a fresh treat to his fans after playing consecutive action-packed roles in Healer, The K2, and 7 First Kisses.

Suspicious Partner will air in May, replacing Saimdang, Light’s Diary on SBS.
