Kang Ha-neul confirms enlistment date, withdraws from Bad Guys: City of Evil

What a sad news for Ha-neul fans! The actor recently announced that he is bailing out of Bad Guys: City of Evil, which is currently facing line-up changes following the knee injury of one of its original cast, Uhm Tae-goo. Just yesterday, Ji Soo was revealed to replace Tae-goo.

Kang Ha-neul drops out of the production due to scheduling conflict as he is set to officially enter mandatory military enlistment on September 11, 2017 and is scheduled to be discharged on June 10, 2019.

Bad Guys: City of Evil is a spin-off to the 2014 OCN hit action thriller Bad Guys, but with a  new set of characters featuring Park Joong-Hoon, Joo Jin-Mo and Ji-Soo.

Bad Guys: City of Evil is scheduled to air in November.
