OCN’s upcoming reboot of the hit action thriller Bad Guys recently faced a change in the line-up of main characters. Uhm Tae-goo (Maids) had to bail out of the drama due to his knee injury, and Ji-soo (Strong Woman Do Bong-soon) has been tapped to take on his role as replacement.
Ji Soo will join the earlier confirmed ensemble of Park Joong-hoon (Hanji, My Dear Desperado), Joo Jin-mo (Woman With a Suitcase), and Kang Ha-neul (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo) in Bad Guys: Age of Evil.
The original series was about a team of convicts formed by two desperate detectives to combat rising violent crimes. In the spin-off, Ji-soo’s character goes to prison to save his family while serving someone’s else sentence. What I really look forward is his reunion with his fellow Scarlet Heart brother, Kang Ha-neul! Let there be more bromance in this new season, dramagods!
Bad Guys: Age of Evil will air later this year on OCN.
