DAN-AH’S DECISION
The kiss that Choi Kang-soo (Go Kyung-pyo) and Lee Dan-ah (Chae Soo-bin) shared finally sealed their relationship, but the question of whether the latter would stay or still push through with her original plan to immigrate is still hanging. Well if I’m her, I’d also have a hard time deciding on that. It’s not that I can’t trust Kang-soo’s words that he would try his best to make me happy in Hell Joseon, it’s just that it’s hard to give up on something you’ve been working on for several years already.
Another thing is that the fulfillment of Kang-soo’s promise to Dan-ah isn’t as easy as it seems as Lee Ji-yoon (Ko Won-hee) omma is persistent to hinder the Strongest Deliveryman from succeeding. She is doing everything to get every single customer in that neighborhood to eat at the Jung family restaurant. She also asked the neighborhood’s bank manager, who happens to be Joker Ahjumma Soon-ae’s ex-husband, not to give the restaurant owners loan extensions, making the situation even harder for them. This pushed the restaurant owners to ultimately give up despite Kang-soo’s appeal to them to hang in there for just six months.
Kang-soo is on the verge of losing hope when Dan-ah finally decided to stay, telling him that she loves him and that she wants to see him succeed. Awww. With this, I’m almost sure that the Strongest Deliveryman would bounce back stronger than ever.
JI-YOON: IS SHE CORRUPTED OR JUST NAIVE?
I must admit that ATM, I love Ji-yoon and Oh Jin-gyu’s (Kim Seon-ho) OTP more than our main pairing because they are sooo cute! Ji-yoon’s unbelievable innocence is most of the time mistaken for aggressiveness. Just like now, she offered Jin-gyu to stay at her place. Jin-gyu is clearly against the whole thing, but he later on accepted it because he has no choice. I can’t help but smile every time Ji-yoon torments Jin-gyu. Yayyy.
My most favorite moment of them in this episode is when Ji-yoon forced Jin-gyu to join her in shopping for homewares and act like they’re newlyweds to get discounts. HAH. Very clever.
I also appreciate Jin-gyu’s move to spill to Kang-soo the Jung family restaurant’s business strategy to increase their menu prices after six months as it gave Kang-soo an idea on how to defeat the food business empire.
KANG-SOO, HYUN-SOO & THEIR OMMA
Kang-soo’s relationship with his omma is still sour, and even his relationship with Hyun-soo, who is still clueless about everything, is now in danger of getting ruined. I’m super curious to know what’s the reason of Kang-soo’s omma for leaving him and his father behind. IDK, but I feel like his mother has an acceptable explanation for it. My hopes are high that Kang-soo will be able to forgive her, and that they will become a happy family.
Speaking of family, when are we gonna see Dan-ah’s family again? When are they gonna be able to settle their own mess?
P.S. Do you agree with me that Yeon-ji (Nam Ji-hyun) and Min-chan (Heo Ji-won) would make another beautiful couple? I wonder how Master Gong-gi (Kim Ki-doo) would react to this. HAHAHA.
