Shin Dong-wook, Lee Si-eon cast in Noh Hee-kyung’s Live

Some casting developments in star writer Noh Hee-kyung’s newest drama project Live! Shin Dong-wook (Lookout) and Lee Si-eon (Two Cops) are both confirmed to star in the upcoming tvN series.

Lee Kwang-soo (Entourage) and Jung Yu-mi (Train to Busan) have both been previously confirmed as the drama’s lead stars, and the direction will be led by PD Kim Kyu-tae (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, It’s Okay, That’s Love).

Live delves on the daily lives of grassroots cops at a regional police station. Shin Dong-wook will play Choi Myung-ho, a football player-turned-police officer who will have a conflict with Lee Kwang-soo’s character Yeom Sang-soo. Meanwhile, Lee Si-eon’s character is Kang Nam-il, a struggling family man who worked in the police forces for 10 years.

Live is set to broadcast on tvN in early 2018.
