K-Drama Reaction: Revolutionary Love | Episode 14

Joon (Kang So-ra) is still in soul searching mode as she is still conflicted in having her own dream. She chanced upon some online pictures of the stunning northern lights (aurora borealis) in Norway, and remembered how she and her father used to plan to visit this place before he passed away. I love Joon. She may be over-the-top in defending her beliefs sometimes, but I can relate to her so much. I love her for planning to have her own vacation, to treat herself to a nice place even though it means she will have to work double time to save up for it. This is the Joon who I want to see. She may still be confused right now, but travelling always heals the soul. You can never go wrong with travelling. It will help widen your horizon and have a better understanding of the world. I just hope she will be able to push through with her plans. I want her to see the northern lights, too.

The fight has begun

Finally, Hyuk (Siwon) has hit the awareness button. He is now wide awake on the wrongdoings of his family – how his father and brother managed to wire a huge chunk of wealth, and how they eliminated people blocking their evil ways. And now that the ball is on Hyuk’s hands, I trust him to choose the path where no one would ever be aggrieved, and where Je-hoon (Gong Myung) and Joon can win.

There was a time when I thought that image of him was cool, I mistakenly thought everyone was respecting my father. However, I’m starting to see it now. What all these people are bowing to is not my father, but money.” ~ Byun Hyuk

Je-hoon’s Low-key Confession

How cute is Je-hoon while giggling??? I love that the show decided to catch up on the feel good romance! This is what I signed up for, and I hope this won’t be the last. I love all the scenes at the activity center and the amusement park, but most especially, at the star observatory. At last, our low-key second lead guy got the chance to confess his feelings, although not straightforwardly. It’s still a decent confession, you guys. He may have chosen not to tell Joon upfront about his feelings, but at least he got to hug her tight – a long overdue hug which he should have done years ago when she confessed to him.

Also, I love how the best friends talked about their same feelings for Joon in a very casual way. I felt something special when Hyuk realized (finally) that Joon was the girl whom Je-hoon liked. I almost teared up when Je-hoon’s subtle confirmation was as sweet as his smiling face.

Ungrateful bastards

I almost lost it when Je-hoon, after all that he sacrificed for the Byun household, was framed by Woo-sung in an embezzlement scheme! These villains will always get what they want. I wanted to hit Hyuk’s father with his golf club when he called Je-hoon an ungrateful scum. You are the ones who are ungrateful, you filthy crooks!!!!

GRUMPY ALLEY

LOL I love Cheol-min (Kang Young-seok) and Yeon-hee (Kim Ye-won) so much! Their flirt game is on point.

Siwon is an expert in driving while crying! Deja vu 💔

The facial expressions during that roller coaster ride were for keeps!!!! Love you, Siwon and Gong Myung!
