K-Drama Reaction: Revolutionary Love | Episode 15

We are one hour away from the finale, and I honestly cannot wait for this to be over with.

A TALE OF TWO MOTHERS

Hyuk’s (Siwon) mom continues to crack me up!!!! For once, K-drama gods blessed us with a rich eommoni who does not reject the relationship of her chaebol son with a commoner. Instead, Revolutionary Love gave us Joon’s (Kang So-ra) mother, a poor ahjumma who adamantly opposed her daughter’s association with a wealthy man. Just to be fair, I understand Joon’s mother for being like this, but she does not have to act rudely. Hyuk’s mother is openly in favor of Joon for her son, and is ready to do anything for them to be together.

Hilarious fight scene

I was actually planning to write how lame Hyuk and Je-hoon’s (Gong Myung) fight scene was! LOL. I thought I got this drama to be predictable already by this time, but I was honestly caught off guard by this small twist! Of course, why would these best friends fight when all they do is save each other, right?

Hilarious chase scene

Another lame (but nevertheless funny) highlight of this hour was when Je-hoon, Hyuk, and Joon were being chased by Dad’s goons to get that secret contract back! Who would have thought that the lowly workers whom they helped before are the very ones who would help them in this critical moment?

A TALE OF TWO FATHERS

I was tearing up when Je-hoon’s dad went down to his knees to beg for his son’s release from jail. Seriously, how many more ahjussis are we going to witness kneeling down before this evil bastards? The apathy of Hyuk’s father and Woo-sung (Lee Jae-yeon) were sky high. I don’t even feel a pinch of pity for CEO Byun and Woo-sung anymore. I hope they rot in jail.

Hyuk has fully evolved! The moment he pushed his own father in order to get that secret contract about BS (his illegal secondary company) was really the climax of this war. I admit I wanted to trust Hyuk’s father at first, but ever since I witnessed how he did not even flinched an eye while beating Hyuk and Je-hoon up, I knew he does not deserve all the good things in the world. Good thing he challenged Hyuk to fight against him and climb his way up, because now our hero is finally awake of the injustices initiated by their own conglomerate.

GRUMPY ALLEY

I love this song. Enough said.

So I’m thinking about the memories through this song. It helps me forget about everything that went wrong. And although I know that we’re not through for sure, deep down in my heart, the pain I can’t ignore…”
