For the first time in six years, actress Han Ga-in (The Moon Embracing the Sun) is set to make her drama comeback through OCN’s upcoming remake of the BBC show Mistresses.
The Korean version tells the story of Se-yeon, a single mother whose husband’s death remained as a mystery. Se-yeon is the character of Trudi Malloy in the original BBC television series.
Mistresses was a British serial drama that followed the lives of four female friends and their involvement in an array of illicit and complex relationships. There had also been a US remake of the show.
OCN’s Mistress will be directed by Han Ji-seung (Alone in Love), and written by Go Jung-woon and Kim Jin-wook. It will air sometime in April.
