K-Drama Reaction: I’m Not a Robot | Episodes 21-22

We spent the entire hour building up to the great reveal, and there are so many exciting moments that got me on the edge of my seat. When will he know the truth???

Sta. Maria: High IQ, Low EQ

I was really disappointed with Ssanip (Kim Min-kyu) and Hoktal (Song Jae-ryong) in these episodes. I never thought that their being love-struck would be the reason why their secret would be revealed to the world. Of course, we don’t know yet what inside that Monami folder, but I’m pretty sure it has something to do with Aji-3 (Chae Soo-bin).

Also, another disappointment was the apparent poor firewall of Sta. Maria team’s system. Had they secured their own system, they would never even get hacked by Yoo-cheol’s (Kang Ki-young) team. They took pride as a genius team, but with only a single virus-infected flash drive, everything was ruined.

Aji-3’s miracle

I love these episodes so much simply because it brought the rom-com back! My heart got really beaten up from last week’s drama, and I’m glad we got some light moments between our main couple from this hour.

But as usual, Min-kyu was the innocent puppy who would always be victimized by other people for being gullible. I hate to see everyone around him conniving, and I would always remind myself that this is just for his own good. They all want him to be better, and not to have a panic attack from his allergy, or feel extremely shocked by the truth.

Sometimes, absurd things tend to happen in this world. Things people can’t believe unless they actually experience them. That friend and I experienced that miraculous moment together.”

Let’s just focus our attention to the things that he can now do after he was healed. He can now travel by train, meet random strangers, and eat food prepared by other people. I love all the good things that happened to him, except the pretensions.

Can’t you just all tell him the truth already?

GRUMPY ALLEY

Ri-el and Min-kyu’s “break-up” was one of this episode’s highlights! Ri-el perfectly described the difference between Yoo-cheol and Min-kyu. And although she liked Yoo-cheol now, she is still aware of the fact that Min-kyu would always be the gentleman between the two. He would never stoop this low and treat Ri-el as an object. You don’t deserve Ri-el, scumbag CEO Hwang!!!!

I love Halmeoni, the pimp! 😂

Aww… Pi’s (Park Se-wan) real first name is Angela. She may have a cold facade, but she sure complements Baek-gyun’s (Uhm Ki-joon) personality.
