Ryu Deok-hwan (God’s Quiz) and Lee Elijah (Fight For My Way) are both confirmed to star in the upcoming JTBC courtroom drama Miss Hammurabi. They will complete the main cast including INFINITE’s L (Ruler: Master of the Mask), Go Ara (Black), and Sung Dong-il (Wise Prison Life).
Miss Hammurabi will be a pre-produced legal drama based on a novel of the same name written by real-life judge Moon Yoo-seok. Ryu Deok-hwan plays Jeong Bo-wang, a childhood friend of hero judge Im Ba-reun (L), who are both working at the Seoul Central District Court. Lee Elijah’s character Kim Do-yeon is a courtroom stenographer who has a very mysterious personal life.
Descendants of the Sun’s production house Studio & NEW will take on the project under the direction of PD Kwak Jung-hwan (Slave Hunters, The K2).
Miss Hammurabi is scheduled to air in JTBC’s Monday-Tuesday slot in May.
