We all have our own definition of love.
I was relieved to find out that Ma-wang (Cha Seung-won) was relatively fine after receiving 10,000 years worth of pain for his one true love, Na Chal-nyeol (Kim Ji-soo). With the help of Son Oh-gong (Lee Seung-gi) and Elder Soo Bo-ri (Sung Ji-ru), the Princess Iron Fan finally died in peace. The only repercussion of his sacrifice is temporary blindness, which resulted in a lot of hilarious sequences. Those were much-needed relief especially for the looming trouble the demons are facing. If only everything will stay as it is just like how the Great Sage wishes it to be.
I’m trying to understand why General Frost (Sung Hyuk) had to follow to Ah Sa-nyeo’s (Lee Se-young) orders. He is indebted to the Priestess for letting his sister Fairy Ha’s soul reside in his body. I know, he’s just protecting his sister. Just like Ma-wang, he did what he had to do because of love. But he kind of betraying his friends. They trusted him and I’m both disappointed and sympathetic with his decisions. And this is why the evil shape-shifter’s manipulation enraged me. She’s taking advantage of this weakness for her own benefit.
I noticed how Jin Sun-mi (Oh Yeon-seo) reacted after discovering she could see the future (this ability is a bit familiar, eh?). It was evident how badly she wanted to do something for Oh-gong. She was at the stage where she felt scared that her happiness could be gone in an instant. She had to depend on the fate dictated by a bell. She was blinded by this fear and could not see she doesn’t have to do anything. I’m expecting she’ll be able to overcome this insecurities and be braver when it comes to dealing with her relationships.
Maknae’s Episode Verdict
This is a torment to watch. I was silently praying that they will resolve this conflict before the end of this week’s episode but dramagenies have other plans and left me with another cliffhanger. It’s a good thing for the series though as it proves how the story was well thought-out from the start. But it’s not good for my health as I’m losing sleep formulating hypothesis that could lead to a possible happy ending. I’m trusting the writers know how to settle this conflicts they arose.
– This girl is ruining my yoga practice. I can’t be at peace whenever I remember her. 😤
– Poor PK. He probably misses Bu-ja.
– I read some comments about Sun-mi as Ma-wang’s daughter. I think it’s a possibility but a bit out of reach. But it’ll be fun to see Ma-wang and Oh-gong’s reaction that they are future in-laws. Their bromance tho ㅋㅋ
– So, where can I buy this ring? I’ll buy it for myself 😂.
– Red is really Oh Yeon-seo’s color.
– Major lesson from this episode: don’t talk about fate and destiny when you are about to go to bed with oppa! ㅋㅋ
