Is the honeymoon break over? That’s we have to see following reports Song Joong-ki (Descendants of the Sun) has been offered the lead role in the fantasy period drama Arthdal Chronicles.
There are no much details about the drama apart from the information on the production team. It will be directed by Innocent Man director Kim Jin-won and will be penned by Deep-Rooted Tree writers Kim Young-Hyun and Park Sang-Yeon, which made the drama sort of a reunion because Song Joong-ki was part of the mentioned productions. It will be pre-produced and is reported to be broadcast next year.
Song Joong-ki was initially courted to headline Netflix zombie series Kingdom but he turned it down.
