K-Drama Reaction: Radio Romance | Episode 13

“I can’t believe I like someone so clueless.” ~ PD Lee Kang

IS IT TOO LATE?

Awww, my heart breaks for our poor PD! I don’t wanna sound like I’m blaming him for confessing his feelings for Song Geu-rim (Kim So-hyun) only now, but I can’t help it. If only he said it much earlier then he could’ve given Ji Soo-ho (Yoon Doo-joon) a good fight for Geu-rim’s heart. Don’t get me wrong. I was, still, and will always be on Soo-ho’s side, but PD Lee Kang (Park Yoon) deserves so much better than getting rejected without officially putting up a fight.

This instance once again proved how fragile love is. One wrong decision and you’d lost your chance. PD Lee Kang’s move to stand by for years waiting for Geu-rim to achieve her dream of becoming a radio writer before confessing ruined his one and only chance. But I truly appreciate his good intentions. Actually, not only his good intentions but every single thing that he has done for Geu-rim. I hope he finds a girl who can reciprocate his feelings because he deserves to be happy. And whoever that girl will be, she’s truly lucky.

I also think that PD Lee Kang deserves his own monument installed somewhere in Seoul because after getting rejected, he even helped Soo-ho and Geu-rim meet in peace following the uproar caused by the revelation of their relationship. You’re so cool, PD-nim!

IN THE SPOTLIGHT

So, it’s never really easy to date a top star huh? Soo-ho and Geu-rim’s dating news spread like a wildfire, making our heroine the target of rumors. Everything might be chaotic right now for our favorite OTP, but I know this will be over soon especially that Soo-ho is determined to settle things down for the sake of his lady love.

What I’m really afraid of is how the mysterious events from 12 years ago are gonna affect Soo-ho and Geu-rim’s relationship. It’s now confirmed that Soo-ho and his friend Woo Ji-woo both liked Geu-rim when they’re young. I’m now waiting for the drama to shed light on Ji-woo’s death. It can’t be possible that there’s a foul play in it, right? Then why are the postcards saying Soo-ho is a murderer keep on coming? And the more important question really is, who the hell is the one behind it?

A GOOD GIRL

I knew it! Jin Tae-ri (Yura) is really a good girl that’s why I can’t hate her fully. In a flashback, we saw how a younger Tae-ri approached Manager Kim Jun-woo (Ha Joon) to be her manager for a day for $10 to put her mom at peace before she remarries. Tae-ri tried to scout Manager Kim with $10 once again, but he just ignored her. I hope they make up soon because I would really want their ship to sail. And now that Tae-ri got to be the female lead in Soo-ho’s new drama, she better stop blackmailing JH Entertainment CEO Nam Joo-ha (Oh Hyun-kyung) because she’ll never know what that woman is capable of doing in order to turn tables.
