Admirable are those who have the courage to reveal the truth despite the threat of losing everything.
THE REVELATION
I’m so proud of Ji Soo-ho (Yoon Doo-joon) because finally, he was able to reveal the truth about Woo Ji-woo to Song Geu-rim (Kim So-hyun) as well as the secrets of his family to the public. It’s never an easy thing to do, but he survived it and that makes my heart so happy.
I’m also thankful to Geu-rim for staying by Soo-ho’s side and supporting him during this difficult time of his life despite what she learned about his past. I got teary eyed when she told Soo-ho that she’s not someone who would only hold him when things are going well for him. It’s hard to put into words how glad I am over how these two found each other after so many years. I’m sure that Ji-woo is also smiling while looking at them for up above. I know he’s now an angel because he lived a wonderful life on Earth and one of the wonderful things he did was to give his consent to Soo-ho to like Geu-rim. It might have took Soo-ho years to learn about it through Ji-woo’s love letters he purposely didn’t give to Geu-rim, but it’s still better than never, right?
Meanwhile, Soo-ho’s revelation of his family’s secrets to the public, which was triggered by Jung Da-seul’s (Seo Ye-seul) desperate move, created a big buzz as expected. It’s a risky decision, yes, because it might ruin Soo-ho’s career, but I still think it’s the best thing to do. Who knows, this might be a blessing in disguise that would finally turn Soo-ho’s family into a real and happy one.
SAILING AT LAST
Another happy news in this episode is Jin Tae-ri (Yura) and Manager Kim Jun-woo’s (Ha Joon) reconciliation. I’m the one blushing with the way Manager Kim grabbed Tae-ri to shut her up with a passionate kiss. I hope Manager Kim’s love will be able to heal Tae-ri’s wounds she got from her parents’ broken marriage. Manager Kim is perfect partner for her because he’s the only one who can handle her brattiness. I really love their OTP that should they reconcile about two episodes earlier I’d probably jump into their ship. Biane, Soo-ho and Geu-rim! 😂
Admittedly, I’m not so fond of Tae-ri at first, but in the latter part of this drama, I felt that she’s not totally evil and true enough, we saw how much she loves her mother, and that her extreme desire to remain popular is not because she’s obsessed with the limelight but because she really loves acting. And this desire pushed her to resort to blackmailing. But I’m now willing to forgive her completely for trying to use Soo-ho’s voice recording to get what she wants because I saw how sincerely sorry she is for what she did.
BETRAYAL
I hope Soo-ho will find forgiveness in his heart soon for Jason (Kwak Dong-yeon). I understand that what Jason did to him is really infuriating. I mean, Soo-ho considered him his first true friend after Ji-woo died but he would only discover that he was being used by Jason for a case study and that he’s reporting to his mother about him. But despite this betrayal, I feel in my heart, and this time I’m 100 percent sure, that Jason’s concern for Soo-ho was all genuine.
Let’s see in the finale how the final pieces will fall to its rightful places!
