It’s Du-shik (Son Seung-won) and Soo-ah’s (Lee Joo-woo) turn to execute the toilet humor in this show. Although some may find it offensive that this drama keeps on dropping poop jokes constantly, y’all just need to accept it because SK’s culture finds it funny. I admit that in this particular episode, I was really not having fun at all to the point that I even find it dragging already (complete with Titanic background like they are trying to be romantic while preventing their own dump to say “Hi, world!“). Anyway, I agree with Du-shik. Jun-ki (Lee Yi-kyung) really needs to let go of Rebecca (his car) for his own good.
Coffee as fresh as morning dew
I love the twist in this sequence!!! I was already feeling bad for Jun-ki for not getting the coffee commercial, but after seeing how it turned out, I consider it a blessing in disguise!
Possessive oppa
I still don’t get it why Dong-gu (Kim Jung-hyun) is so hung up on Jun-ki and Seo-jin (Go Won-hee). Now, he even stalks them! LOL
Also, Yoon-ah’s (Jung In-sun) dedication to attend baking classes and practice sessions is so admirable. Even possessive Dong-gu was taken aback by her newfound carpentry skills!
Boys will be boys
If there is one thing that describes the three stooges in Waikiki, it’s ‘playful’. Every single boy in this guesthouse likes to play games. That’s why there is no point in Seo-jin’s disapproval of Jun-ki’s antics. Like I get it, girl. Sometimes Jun-ki’s pranks and jokes are overboard, but why did you even like him in the first place? You liked him because some of those playful pranks landed you your dream job, even your first news scoop. Without Jun-ki’s antics, you won’t even be where you are now. Loosen up, Seo-jin!
Anyway, at least now we all know what will happen to Jun-ki if he stops joking around. LOL
Brewing bromance
As much as I dislike the love triangle of Dong-gu, Yoon-ah, and Hyun-joon (Kang Kyung-joon), I feel like Hyun-joon’s presence is starting to grow on me. His budding friendship with Dong-gu is something I look forward to in the next episodes.
GRUMPY ALLEY
This bundle of joy never fails to put a smile on my face!
Even though we don’t get enough screen time for our main couple, I can forgive it as long as Yoon-ah keeps on making money while selling her muffins at Hyun-joon’s bakery.
But please let’s not stop making Yoon-ah rap now, huh? She’s hilarious!
SO ADORABLE *finger hearts everywhere*
To all my fellow women out there, let’s just give up and give in. They will never grow up.
