THE HEART WANTS WHAT IT WANTS
Eun Tae-hee (Joy) is just like the most of us when it comes to love. She said that she’d get over Kwon Si-hyun (Woo Do-hwan), but she still ended up in his arms again. I thought this “let’s stop this” phase would take much longer for them to have enough time to feel the pain and longing for each other so I’m quite surprised that the reconciliation came right away. But I’m still happy that Tae-hee and Si-hyun are now officially dating. At least it’s now clear where they stand in each other’s lives.
It’s also now clear to me that Si-hyun really likes Tae-hee seeing how he ended up in the hospital for drinking way too much his limit after the latter told him she wanted to stop. Plus, Si-hyun also gave her his mom’s necklace! Knowing how much Si-hyun loves his mom, giving Tae-hee an important memorabilia from her means a lot.
I really love Si-hyun and Tae-hee’s moments here in these episodes especially when he told her that he’s “a beast in bed.” Omo, please forgive my perverted mind but I really thought there’s something intense happening next. So I’m quite disappointed that what I saw was “a beast in bed” ordering Tae-hee around. I feel betrayed! 😒😒😒
We can all also say that Si-hyun never really liked Choi Soo-ji (Moon Ga-young) as a woman, and that he could’ve only mistaken his affection for her as a close friend to something romantic. I admit that I really thought he truly likes her because he even asked her out and offered her marriage, but after seeing a flashback wherein Si-hyun and Lee Se-joo (Kim Min-jae) talked about the former not kissing Soo-ji, I came to realize that he’s never been in love with her.
Soo-ji is just the same. I now think that she’s not in love with Si-hyun but rather obsessed. She’s jealous over the fact that she now has a rival in Si-hyun’s attention that’s why she tried to push Tae-hee away by telling her that she and Si-hyun like each other, which for me is very absurd. Because if I may remind Soo-ji, she’s the one who pushed Si-hyun near Tae-hee. And it’s now too late for her to ask Si-hyun to marry her. But even though I hate Soo-ji now more than I like her, I still wish that she sees Se-joo’s genuine love for her. Who knows, Se-joo could be the one destined to make her truly happy.
THE MYSTERIOUS ACCIDENT
Soo-ji’s mom told Si-hyun that his mother got involved in a hit-and-run accident, and that the JK Group intentionally squashed its record to protect her from being labeled as an assailant. But why do I have a feeling that Soo-ji’s mom is lying? Also, it’s still unclear why Si-hyun’s mother was at the place where the accident happened when she should have been at the hospital that day. I also believe that the student involved in the accident is none other than Tae-hee. I wonder how her relationship with Si-hyun would be affected once this is confirmed and revealed.
This is only one of the issues that pose a threat to our love birds’ fresh relationship. Another is the love history between Tae-hee’s omma and Si-hyun’s dad, which I think is soon to be exposed especially after Soo-ji saw Tae-hee with her mom. Si-hyun and Tae-hee, please be strong.
P.S. Park Hye-jung (Oh Ha-nui) is so cute!
