K-Drama Reaction: Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food

If Gyu-min (Oh Ryong) never cheated on Jin-a (Son Ye-jin), I’ll probably feel a pinch of pity for him. But he’s a d-bag all over! It’s one thing to cheat on your relationship, but to insult your girl!?? That says a lot about your rotten personality. I’m just happy Jin-a was not shaken with his words and came out strong after their fight.

I just hope Jin-a’s parents will get over their break-up immediately and stop bombarding her with questions about marriage.

I was so touched by the backstory of the Seo siblings! Their mother passed away 10 years ago right after Jun-hee finished his high school exams, and their father took off not long after.

I admired Kyung-sun (Jang So-yeon) for raising Joon-hee (Jung Hae-in) on her own. I could only imagine the sacrifice she had to go through just to send him to school. It’s really a good thing that the drama started out when everyone is pretty much at a stable point in their respective careers because I don’t think I can handle more drama in K-dramaland right now.

My favorite phase

Just like in every other shows, I think every one loves the early stage of the relationship – the midnight escapades, funny banters, giddy moments. All those suppressed moments of Joon-hee and Jin-a at work were greatly compensated by the time they spent together outside their office.
