It looks like Lee Seung-gi won’t make us wait that long.
Sources from Hook Agency confirmed that actor Lee Seung-gi received casting offer for upcoming SBS drama Vagabond. “It’s true he received a casting offer for Vagabond, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. We’ve been discussing it since February, but because it will be a pre-produced drama, we’ve been taking our time to look it over. We haven’t made a decision yet,” they stated.
The sources also revealed that the offer was made even before Lee Seung-gi’s appearance in tvN’s Hwayugi (A Korean Oddysey).
If he decides to accept the project, Lee Seung-gi will take the role of a stuntman who is trying to reveal the truth behind a plane crash. Previously, actor Shin Sung-rok has already confirmed his participation in the drama.
Vagabond boasts a 20-billion won production cost and will be directed by PD Yoo In-shik (Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim). The drama is eyeing to premiere in the second half of the year.
