K-Drama Reaction: The Great Seducer | Episodes 25-26

IT IS YOU!

Eun Tae-hee (Joy) finally remembered who the real culprit is in her hit-and-run accident, and it’s none other than President Myung Mi-ri (Kim Seo-hyung). Tae-hee would’ve forgiven her if only she admitted her fault and showed remorse, but she didn’t. Gosh, I feel so angry right now! Is it too hard for her to admit her fault and say sorry? I think, Kwon Si-hyun (Woo Do-hwa) is right. Tae-hee must report President Myung to the police because people like her need to be punished!

What makes me even madder right now is President Myung’s excuses to conceal the crime that she committed. She said that she forgot about Tae-hee because she got too consumed by the death of Si-hyun’s mom. Woah. How could a human being forget about the fact that she endangered someone’s life? I cannot also accept President Myung’s excuse for putting the blame on the hit-and-run accident on Si-hyun’s mother. Not only that, President Myung even has the face to also blame Tae-hee’s mom for everything that has happened. Did she forget that it was her who lured Si-hyun’s mom to go to that place?

I’m not even done yet processing my anger with President Myung when Choi Soo-ji (Moon Ga-young) entered the picture and confronted Tae-hee about why her mother broke down. This girl doesn’t only have a totally messed up logic, she also has severe anger management issues! I’m yet to see the next episodes so I’m dying to know whether Soo-ji really hit Tae-hee and Si-hyun with her car. I wish she did not because in case she did, she would automatically find her place in my list of most hated K-Drama characters!

A BIGGER HEARTBREAK

It’s so hard to watch Si-hyun and Tae-hee suffering. My heart breaks seeing how they spent almost half of these episodes reminiscing about their happy moments together. It’s already a torture for me, and I don’t know if my heart can still handle a bigger heartbreak that is bound to happen. Will Tae-hee be able to forgive Si-hyun once she learns about how she got entangled in Soo-ji’s absurd revenge plot?

Speaking of the revenge plot, I can’t really accept the fact that it all started with Lee Ki-young (Lee Jae-kyun). He is just not worth it! I almost throw my phone (that’s where I watch my dramas) when he said he’s “a very righteous person” when Park Hye-jung (Oh Ha-nui) brought up about why he got beaten up at a bar. Righteous, my ass! He deserves his bruises and broken bones because he’s such a douchebag! How I wished Si-hyun didn’t stop beating him until he’s black and blue.

Because the bar incident caused quite a buzz, Lee Se-joo’s (Kim Min-jae) father got so angry about it as expected. I’m actually already fed up by this old man’s nagging and violent punishments on Se-joo, and I wonder when we can finally see some developments on this side of the story. We’re only six, technically three, episodes away from the finale, but there’s not much happening on Se-joo’s family aside from violence and inside competitions. Also, Se-joo’s mom is still in coma!

P.S. Si-hyun’s father now undergoes treatment for his tumor on his optic nerve, which probably the reason why he experiences blurry vision. This might seem harsh, but I don’t feel sorry for him, sorry.

P.P.S. Si-hyun’s grandma now knows that Si-hyun isn’t really his father’s biological son, but why it seems like she was not very surprised by this revelation?

P.P.P.S. Si-hyun finally caught a cherry blossom petal, but it was quickly blown away by the wind. Does this mean bad omen for our poor hero?
