Proving the While You Were Sleeping craze in 2017, its lead stars Suzy and Jung Hae-in emerged as the winners of the Popularity Award for the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards.
The Popularity Award was divided into two categories: Actor and Actress, with each had twenty-two male and female celebrities who were nominated by a team of 40 judges including PDs, writers, and more. The winners were determined through online vote that was held from April 10 through April 27.
The runners-up were Seol Kyung-gu, Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Nam-joo, and Shin Hye-sun.
The 54th Baeksang Arts Awards will happen on May 3 and will be hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Suzy, and Park Bo-gum.
