I think, I’ve already said it in one of my past K-Drama Reactions, but I’d like to say it again. Eun Tae-hee (Joy) has never failed to earn my respect. She’s smart, charming, and kind, but most of all, she knows how to get back and fight for herself with class. So now, I’d also like to ask the same question to Choi Soo-ji (Moon Ga-young)… How does it feel? I bet you’re in so much pain that your heart feels like exploding. I bet you’re so guilty that you feel like you’re going crazy. But, you know what? I don’t feel even a pinch of pity for you because you deserve all of it! And don’t you ever use your late realization of your feelings for Kwon Si-hyun (Woo Do-hwan) as an excuse for all of your actions because it will never be acceptable. To me, you’re nothing but a selfish, manipulative brat.
Lee Se-joo (Kim Min-jae) is just the same. How could he deny Si-hyun that one chance to reveal the truth to Tae-hee by himself and beg for forgiveness? And his reason for doing it made it even more unacceptable. That’s just so selfish! What?! You revealed everything to Tae-hee because you wanted to teach Si-hyun a lesson for leaving you and Soo-ji behind? That’s so absurd! Ahhh, you and Soo-ji are truly made for each other. I hope you end up together and suffer for a very long time.
Well I guess I don’t have to wait that long for this hope to become a reality because it’s already happening. President Myung Mi-ri (Kim Seo-hyung), Soo-ji’s mom, is now facing a huge scandal after getting involved in the bribery case of Assemblyman Kim whom she asked for help to get the Tiuzen drug clinically approved. I can already see her downfall coming!
Hey, I’m not saying that Si-hyun is a pure victim here because clearly, he’s not. He played his part in this stupid love game, but at least, he’s remorseful and is recognizing his faults. It’s just that he couldn’t find the strength to reveal the truth to Tae-hee, a situation that See-jo had taken advantage of.
Did you see the flame in Tae-hee’s eyes? I can feel how angry she is with Si-hyun, and that’s very understandable. I just hope that she finds forgiveness for him in her heart someday. And I hope when that time comes, Tae-hee will be able to remember how she felt for Si-hyun just like what her dad said:
“Your feelings are like muscles. When the good feelings you had for someone become stronger, you can’t move any other way. It’s as if your body remembers how you felt when you liked them. It makes you move in that direction.” ~ Tae-hee’s dad
MESSIER, DIRTIER, BIGGER
The revenge plot that Soo-ji orchestrated against Lee Ki-young (Lee Jae-kyun) is now taking its toll on her two best friends. Ki-young accidentally discovered about the whole thing while locating the runaway Park Hye-jung (Oh Ha-nui), and he is more than determined to get back at Se-joo and Si-hyun. I wish that Soo-ji was also there to get beaten up so that she could learn her lesson in a hard and unforgettable way.
I’ll rant about it over and over again to emphasize how hard it is for me to accept the fact that this revenge plot started all because of Ki-young. He’s a human garbage and no one in her right mind would ever want to take revenge against him for getting dumped. Soo-ji should’ve been thankful that she didn’t end up marrying this loser. Even Hye-jung’s omma has finally realized that Ki-young is a good for nothing man for her daughter, resulting in her decision to break off the engagement.
I wonder whether Tae-hee will help Se-joo and Si-hyun especially once she learns that she became the collateral damage in the trio’s revenge plot against Ki-young. Let’s find out in the finale!!!
