It’s time for another switch!
Baek Joon-soo (Jang Geun-suk) may be ill but the plan to lure Geum Tae-woong (Jung Woong-in) shall continue. And so, Sa Do-chan (Jang Geun-suk) is back playing the prosecutor.
I’ve been holding my breath every time Do-chan meet with Tae-woong. The latter is no fool. He is quick to know if he is being fooled. He also has eyes everywhere. I know Do-chan is still setting up the trap for him but I’m kinda worried it’ll be too late, especially now that Tae-woong is starting to threaten Oh Ha-ra (Han Ye-ri). I know this is all part of the build-up before the final conflict but I’m starting to get nervous for Ha-ra’s safety.
We have already been introduced to Viktor Jang a few episodes ago but it is only now that his purpose is being unraveled.
I wonder how many traps Sa Ma-chun set-up while he was hiding all these years. He seems to be one step ahead Do-chan in every cases they handle. But just like they say, like father like son. Do-chan is successful in using this faux Russian businessman to entice Tae-woong and finally put him in jail.
Do-chan knew Viktor Jang wasn’t really the man behind this natural gas con. His instinct was telling him someone else created the elaborate set-up. What I’m anxious about is that the revelation by his father might be too distracting for him. It could be used by Tae-woong to caught him in the act.
I haven’t seen an emotional side of Do-chan yet. Maybe this is a plot progression I’m not ready to see. He was always laid back and smiling that I’m not sure if my fangirl heart is ready to see him probably wrecked because of the secret he uncovered.
Maknae’s Episode Verdict
I have one thought while watching the whole episode: how they will catch Grizzly? Surely, that wouldn’t be a boring finale right? With all the clever things they have been doing, I’m worried they’ll run out of imaginative set-up soon. But this series is proving, it has planned everything from the start. I’m starting to expect a thrilling final act. I hope I will not be disappointed.
– They’re cute.
