2. The Great Seducer co-stars Woo Do-hwan, Moon Ga-young deny dating rumors

Respective agencies of The Great Seducer co-stars Woo Do-hwan and Moon Ga-young denied dating rumors that have swept up the two right after the show aired its finale.

Moon Ga-young’s agency SM C&C said, “Moon Ga-young and Woo Do-hwan are just close friends,” while Woo Do-hwan’s label KeyEast also related, “Woo Do-hwan, Moon Ga-young, and the entire cast of ‘Great Temptation’ are very close friends with one another.”


3. Bae Yong-joon, J.Y. Park deny being members of religious cult Salvation Sect

KeyEast dismissed rumors that their talent, actor Bae Yong-joon (The Legend), is a member of the religious cult Salvation Sect. This is following a Dispatch report claiming that both Bae Yong-joon and J.Y. Park were spotted at a religious gathering supposedly for the said group. J.Y. Park has also denied the issue, but JYP Entertainment stocks still plummeted in the face of the allegations.

Salvation Sect is affiliated to the Sewol Ferry tragedy.

4. Shin Hyun-soo, Jo Woo-ri announce split

Actors Shin Hyun-soo (My Golden Life) and Jo Woo-ri (Queen of Mystery 2) have broken up just four months after confirming their relationship.

5. Lee Yoo-ri set to star in new MBC weekend drama

Lee Yoo-ri (Father is Strange) is confirmed to make a comeback via the weekend drama Hide and Seek. The said MBC series is looking at an August release.


6. Jo Jung-suk, Yoona cast as leads in new disaster film

Jo Jung-suk (Two Cops) and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona (The King Loves) are confirmed to unite as leads in the upcoming disaster film Exit (working title).

The movie will revolve around Yong Nam (Jo Jung-suk) and his college hoobae Eui Joo (Yoona), and their escape from a toxic gas that suddenly engulfed the city. Exit is set to premiere in summer of 2019.

7. Produce 101 Season 2‘s Lee Yoo-jin signs up for Ji Sung’s new drama

It has been confirmed that former Produce 101 Season 2 contestant Lee Yoo-jin (Age of Youth 2) will be joining Ji Sung (Innocent Defendant) and Han Ji-min’s (Hyde Jekyll, Me)  upcoming tvN drama Wife I Know (literal title). The rookie actor is set to play the role of Jung Hyun-soo, a business administration student with a bright smile.
