K-Lookbook: Most Stylish Characters in Korean Legal Dramas

Over the years, a plethora of legal dramas has entertained K-drama fans with its engaging storylines and appealing characters. Imaginative screenwriters and PDs have produced stories ranging in various genres like melo, action, and even romance. Those fictional characters also shattered the stereotypical view that working in the justice system is one monotonous job. They proved that they don’t let their taxing responsibilities get in the way of their goals while still managing to look gorgeous as ever.

Here are some characters from recent legal dramas who aren’t just career goals but also OOTD inspo.

Maknae’s Choice

Prosecutor Oh Ha-ra (Han Ye-ri) from Switch: Change the World. I personally love Oh Ha-ra’s short hairstyle. It really brought out the feminine features of Han Ye-ri that were hidden by her long hair.

The Veterans

Prosecutor Ma Yi-deum (Jung Ryeo-won) from Witch’s Court. This fierce ace prosecutor’s choice of color is as strong as her personality. She effortlessly rocks power suits on a daily basis.

Prosecutor Lee In-ah (Park Min-young) from RememberHer coatdresses are always on point in this series that it was not surprising she won the affection of young lawyer Seo Jin-woo (Yoo Seung-ho). Or maybe because they both look beautiful that I think they are a couple we ought not to forget?

The Juniors

The sunbaes knew the rules in fashion like a pro but their hoobaes are not far behind. They may lack in experience but they sure know how to charm us all.

Prosecutor Jung Jae-chan (Lee Jong-suk) from While You Were Sleeping. This long-legged officer of the law knew how to use his advantage and make the most out of it by picking the right suit and jeans/pullover combo.

Noh Ji-wook (Ji Chang-wook) from Suspicious Partner. This prosecutor-turned-lawyer could challenge Jae-chan in the most adorable prosecutor award. He has sleek style and a love for stripes that would surely catch the eye of even the most doubtful person on earth.

Suspicious Partner Noh Ji-wook (Ji Chang-wook)

Eun Bong-hee (Nam Ji-hyun) from Suspicious Partner. She definitely committed a crime. As you see in the evidence A below, Bong-hee is one fine and stylish lass. I, therefore, sentence her to be imprisoned in the arms of Ji-wook forever. Kidding aside, who didn’t love her OOTDs in this series?!

The Rookies

They are maybe new in the field but they are giving us promising glimpses from their wardrobe.

Im Ba-reun (Infinite L/Kim Myung-soo) from Miss Hammurabi. This right-seat judge also known as my husband has the golden visuals that no matter how grubby his clothes are, he still looks like the perfect man of your dreams. The picture I put here didn’t do justice how hot Ba-reun is on scenes where he is concentrating and he had his sleeves rolled up. I really wonder why we always find it sexy for a man to fold his sleeves to his elbow. Or maybe it is just really L?

Park Cha O Reum (Go Ara) from Miss Hammurabi. This passionate new judge is busy trying to change the world, or at least the civil justice system. But that doesn’t mean she looks outmoded as well. She always makes sure she’s as pretty as a flower in and out of the courtroom.

Bong Sang-pil (Lee Joon-Gi) from Lawless Lawyer. A bad boy intellectual? Isn’t that enough to convince you he’s one sangnamja lawyer who could protect you wherever you are?

Ha Jae-yi (Seo Ye-Ji) from Lawless Lawyer. Her strong looking garbs matches how fierce her personality is. It won’t be surprising if a former gangster would be tamed by this regal beauty.
