Seo In-guk (Shopping King Louie) has accepted the offer to lead the upcoming Korean remake of the Japanese drama Hundred Million Stars from the Sky (literal title).
Hundred Million Stars from the Sky is about a detective who tries to save his sister from the man she falls in love with, who’s the primary suspect for the murder of his ex-girlfriend.
Jung So-min (Because This Is My First Life) is still in the middle of discussions for the female lead role. Sources from tvN stated that she is positively reviewing the offer.
Seo In-guk signed on to portray the role of microbrewery worker Kim Moo-young, while Jung So-min is considering the role of advertisement designer Yoo Jin-kang.
Hundred Million Stars from the Sky is set to air later this year on tvN.
