Esom (Because This is my First Life) is reportedly considering the offer as the leading lady in the upcoming JTBC drama Third Charm.
Seo Kang-joon (Are You Human, Too?) was also previously reported to have received the casting offer for the male lead role.
The Third Charm will be a romantic comedy that aims to present a realistic love story of its main characters Ban Min-soo and Lee Young-jae. Veteran PD Pyo Min-su (The Producers, The World They Live In, Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, Full House) will take on the direction of the upcoming series, with the help of writers Park Eun-young (Maundy Thursday) and Park Hee-kwon (The Flu).
Chun Woo-hee (Argon) and Girl’s Generation’s Sooyoung (Man Who Sets the Table) were previously offered the lead role, respectively, but both actresses declined.
The Third Charm is looking to premiere on JTBC later this year.
