“In this heavy and confusing life, while you deal with your business, you wonder what they are doing all of a sudden… and think of the person first aside from yourself. That’s enough of a reason to call it love.” ~ from the book Every Moment Was You
IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT
I so love this phase of romance that Lee Young-joon (Park Seo-joon) and Kim Min-so (Park Min-young) are currently in. They’re now seeing each other in a different light after all these years that they only maintain a boss-secretary relationship. But no matter how much they try to deny it, the tension and attraction between them can never lie, and we have several instances from this episode to prove it!
Omo, keep calm my heart! I know that what they feel right now is confusing and overwhelming at the same because this is new to them, but I really hope that they recognize what their hearts want soon. And I think I don’t have to wait any longer for this hope to come true following Young-joon’s declaration to finally ‘fall madly in love’ with Secretary Kim. I’m so excited to know how madly is madly!
Why do I feel that Lee Sung-yeon (Lee Tae-hwan) is jealous of his brother? He’s even blaming him for not being the one handling their family business. What the heck happened to them 20 years ago for them to become so estranged to each other? I wonder if it’s connected with the kidnapping incident that Secretary Kim is talking about in the previous episode.
One more thing that I noticed between the two brothers is that Young-joon seems to be hiding Secretary Kim from Sung-yeon. It’s as if he’s afraid that his older brother might steal her from him. But I think that no matter how hard Young-joon tries to keep Secretary Kim away from Sung-yeon, it’s fate that is making it’s way for the two to meet, and I’m sure that there’s a reason for it. Maybe she’s the one sent by the heavens to heal their wounded hearts and fix their broken relationship. Well, I really hope so because I feel so bad for their parents, especially for their omma who wants nothing but to see her two children getting along with each other.
Oh, before I end this K-Drama Reaction, let me just share with you these epic ‘Young-joon being Young-joon’ moments that put a wide smile on my face.
