Another name has popped up in the list of the potential (and good looking) cast of the upcoming drama version of The Beauty Inside.
Ahn Jae-hyun (Reunited Worlds) has reportedly received the offer to join jtbc’s adaptation of the hit movie, and is positively reviewing it, as confirmed by his agency HB Entertainment.
Earlier reports also confirmed that Lee Min-ki (Because This is My First Life), Seo Hyun-jin (Temperature of Love), and Lee Da-hee (Mystery Queen 2) are all courted to play as the drama remake’s main cast.
This 2015 movie tells the story of Kim Woo-jin, a furniture maker in the shadow, who wakes up in a different body every day. He sometimes transforms into an old man, a child, a woman, or a foreigner—there’s no limitation to it. However, the drama plans to have a heroine who only becomes a different person at specific times due to supernatural occurrence.
Ahn Jae-hyun has been offered to appear as Ryu Eun-ho, a quiet and calm lad who dreams of becoming a priest. He is the heroine’s childhood friend, and protects her secret once he finds out about it. The heroine Han Se-kye has been offered to Seo Hyun-jin. Lee Min-ki has been offered to play the airline executive Seo Do-jae, who is in love with the heroine, while Lee Da-hee is courted to portray Kang Sa-ra, a character who is in love with Ahn Jae-hyun’s character.
PD Song Hyun-wook (Meloholic, Revolutionary Love, Oh Hae Young Again) will direct the drama version. It is scheduled to air later this year.
