Lee Min-ki (Because This is My First Life) and Seo Hyun-jin (Temperature of Love) have both been confirmed as the leads in the upcoming JTBC drama The Beauty Inside.
The drama will be loosely based on the hit 2015 romantic comedy film of the same name which starred Han Hyo-joo. The drama version revolves around the love story of Han Se-gye (to be played by Seo Hyun-jin), an A-list actress who must spend one week out of each month living in someone else’s body, and Seo Do-jae (to be played by Lee Min-ki), an airline executive who has the inability to recognize other people’s faces.
The Beauty Inside also reunites Seo Hyun-jin and PD Song Hyun-wook, who previously worked together on the hit tvN drama Another Oh Hae Young.
Earlier reports also confirmed that Ahn Jae-hyun (Reunited Worlds) and Lee Da-hee (Mystery Queen 2) were also courted to join the drama remake’s main cast.
