MBC will soon air Dae Jang-geum is Watching, a series about the story of the descendants of the main characters from its sageuk Jewel In The Palace. The drama will revolve around the lives of siblings Han San-hae, Han Jin-mi, and Han Jeong-sik and their journey filled with delicious food, love lines, and the ups-and-downs of life.
According to reports, SNSD’s Kwon Yuri (Defendant) and Shin Dong-wook have accepted their respective offers to star in the said series. Shin Dong-wook will play the role of Han San-hae, has the same strong sense of taste as his predecessor. He is working as a salesman alongside Yuri’s character named Bok Soong-ah.
We Got Married PD Sun Hye-yoon, who directed her first drama (Borg Mom) last year, will be at the helm of the production.
Dae Jang-geum is Watching will air in late September.
