Ji Soo may star as lead in new Netflix youth drama

Ji Soo (Bad Guys: City of Evil) was reportedly offered to lead the upcoming coming-of-age drama Because It’s My First Love (literal title), which will be helmed by PD Oh Jin-seok whose works include Yong Pal and My Sassy Girl.

The drama revolves around the normal lives of college students, and should Ji Soo accept the role, he will appear as college freshman Yoon Tae-oh, a business major who is described to be wealthy and handsome. Yoon Tae-oh may seem to have a perfect life, but he secretly feels isolated due to his unhappy family. He will eventually fall in love with his friend Han Song-yi, who ends up living in his house due to her personal circumstances.

The role of Yoon Tae-oh was previously offered to Nam Joo-hyuk (Bride of the Water God), but no update regarding his casting offer has since been announced.

Because It’s My First Love is currently in talks to air on Netflix.
