I know it is still too early but I’m already claiming this. Lee Young-joon (Park Seo-joon) and Kim Mi-so’s (Park Min-young) wedding is dramaland’s wedding of the year! Who is with me?
A WEDDING THAT IS MEANT TO BE
It’s always so beautiful to witness two people ending up exchanging vows of love in front of the altar after going through the complicated twist of fate. Who would have thought that the two young children who suffered a very traumatic incident together 24 years ago would actually meet once again and fall in love? Young-joon was definitely right when he told Secretary Kim that the universe itself wants their wedding to happen.
Every single detail about the wedding is so elegant—from the hall to the flowers to our groom and bride’s tuxedo and gown. The prod team surely did a very good job preparing all these! Hands down!
Seeing the mighty Young-joon shiver in nervousness while waiting for the ceremony to begin is such an unbelievable sight. Imagine the vice chairman of a conglomerate who is used to facing different people and closing multimillion worth of deals couldn’t sit still on his wedding day? That’s something so interesting.
Another Young-joon moment that captured my heart is this:
Is it too much to ask for someone like Young-joon who would assure me that he’ll protect me for the rest of his life???
Now, it’s time to look back at the events leading up to our OTP’s big day!
Mi-so standing her ground during the two families’ meeting:
Young-joon, the Jealousy Incarnate:
Mi-so’s sincere efforts to make it up to Young-joon:
Young-joon, you naughty boy!
The sisters’ heart-to-heart talk:
Young-joon’s heartfelt expression of gratitude to his parents:
Young-joon and Sung-yeon’s improving relationship:
I’m also happy for our supporting OTPs, most especially for BFF Park Yoo-sik (Kang Ki-young) who got back together with his ex-wife. Just never mind there was a time I shipped him with his clumsy secretary. LOL.
I’ll surely miss Young-joon and Secretary Kim’s sweetness and corny gestures, but I have to accept the reality that all good things must come to an end. I’ll just hope to watch another K-Drama that is as feel good and lovely as Why Secretary Kim! To everyone who followed my K-Drama Reactions for this drama… kumapta! ‘Til next time!
P.S. Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young’s oozing chemistry makes me want to wish that their dating rumors are true. I’ll gladly be a ParkPark couple shipper!
