K-Drama Reaction: Come and Hug Me

Eclipse of a Nightmare

The old villain in the dark has finally woken up and decided to move. While in prison, Yoon Hee-jae gets flooded by his frustrations over his favorite son Yoon Na-moo. With the help of Yeom Ji-hong, he was able to contact his crazed admirer Jeon Yoo-ra, she’s the not-so-fab ahjumma who visited Ok-hee’s restaurant before.

The plan is so brilliant that at the time it was executed, Hee-jae had no problem. From the ribbon tied to the tree, to Hee-jae preparing inside the prison shuttle and to him getting out after it crashed, everything was so clear.

What made me really wonder was why Hee-jae stayed at the accident site for a long time. He just stood there as if waiting for something. It was also shown that he was surrounded by cops, so how was he able to flee?

What’s the exact role that Yoo-ra played in this? I guess we’ll find out soon enough.

I admire how Yoon Hyun-moo always looks out for So-jin, to the point of taking Ji-hong’s beatings for her.

Oh, and I felt really bad for the young Gil Moo-won who needed to face judgement from Nak-won’s relatives when their parents died. 😥
