SBS is cooking something new!
Upcoming drama Empress Dignity secures Shin Sung-rok (Return) as its cast member. Previously, Choi Jin-hyuk (Tunnel) and actress Sung Yuri (Monster) were also offered roles.
Empress’s Dignity is set in a reimagined modern South Korea as a constitutional monarchy. The drama follows the story of musical actress Min Yoo-ra, who marries into the imperial family and got entangled with the struggle for power following the death of the emperor’s grandmother.
Empress’s Dignity will be helmed by PD Joo Dong-min, who also worked with Shin Sung-rok in Return. The drama is looking at a November premiere.
