Ju Ji-hoon could soon return to the small screen if he decided to accept the offer to lead the drama adaptation of webtoon series Item.
According to his agency Key East, the fantasy drama is one of the projects the actor is currently considering. The series revolved around the story of a police profiler and a prosecutor and their attempts to uncover secrets of items with special powers of protection. Ju Ji-hoon was offered to play the character of prosecutor Kang Gon, who get involved in a corruption case in his department. The TV adaptation will be produced by Huayu Brothers and will be written by Jung Yi-do (Save Me).
The series is scheduled to begin filming this year and is slated to air in early 2019 on MBC’s Monday-Tuesday timeslot.
