Are you ready to fall in love with Yoo Seung-ho once again?
SBS confirms that actor Yoo Seung-ho (I’m Not a Robot) will lead its upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama Revenge is Back (working title).
Yoo Seung-ho will take on the role of Kang Bok-soo, a clumsy high school student who was expelled after being wrongly accused of violence. He then returns to Seol Song High School to seek revenge on his first love Son Soo-jung, who was the reason for his expulsion.
According to SBS, “Yoo Seung-ho’s kind nature, friendly appearance, and optimistic personality are similar to those of main character Kang Bok-soo. Kang Bok-soo reenters Seol Song High School in order to become a small hero, but the school is no longer a place for love and romance. What will he look like as an old, silly returning student? Yoo Seung-ho will be able to show the charms of a failed, small hero.”
In other news, actress Jo Bo-ah (Goodbye to Goodbye) is offered to play the female lead role.
Revenge is Back will be helmed by Wok of Love co-director Ham Joon-ho and will be penned by rookie writer Kim Yoon-young. The drama is set to air in December following Fox Bride Star.
