Jang Seung-jo (Familiar Wife) has reportedly received an offer to appear in tvN upcoming drama Encounter (formerly known as Boyfriend). The drama previously confirmed its lead stars as Song Hye-kyo (Descendants of the Sun) and Park Bo-gum (Moonlight Drawn By The Clouds).

Encounter will tell the love story of Cha Soo-hyun (Song Hye-kyo), a rich politician’s daughter who lives an unhappy life, and Kim Jin-hyuk (Park Bo-gum), an average commoner who loves his ordinary life.

Jang Seung-jo is offered to portray the role of chaebol heir Jung Woo-seok, Cha Soo-hyun’s ex-husband.

The drama is scheduled to premiere this November, following the conclusion of The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.
