Ha Ji-won (Hospital Ship) is currently in talks to lead the new JTBC drama “Chocolate.”
Her agency Haewadal Entertainment recently confirmed that they have received the casting offer, and is positively considering to take on the role.
The drama revolves around the love story of an international chef and a neurosurgeon who find comfort in each other while feeding the terminally ill in hospice centers.
Chocolate will reunite the tandem of writer Lee Kyung-hee and PD Lee Hyung-min, who previously worked together in the hit series I’m Sorry, I Love You. JYP Pictures is reportedly in charge of the drama production.
Ha Ji-won was offered the role of the chef, while Yoon Kye-sang (The Good Wife) has been offered the role of the neurosurgeon.
Chocolate is looking to premiere on JTBC during the first half of the year.
