Han Ji-min (The Light in Your Eyes) and Jung Hae-in (Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food) are cast in new MBC romance drama “Spring Night” (literal translation).
Son Ye-jin was first offered the female lead character, but declined.
This drama would also be Jung Hae-in’s reunion with Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food writer Kim Eun and producing director Ahn Pan-seok.
Spring Night aims to tell the story of a soon-to-wed couple in their 30s who looks back at their relationship and gets a whole new appreciation for it. Han Ji-min is set to portray a local librarian named Lee Jung-in, while Jung Hae-in will appear as Yoo Ji-ho, a warmhearted pharmacist.
Spring Night will take over MBC’s Wednesday and Thursday slot in May 2019 after after the conclusion of The Banker.
