Yeo Jin-goo (The Crowned Clown) is currently in talks to star alongside IU (My Ahjussi) in the upcoming Hong Sister’s fantasy drama “Hotel del Luna” (working title).
His agency Janus Entertainment stated that their camp has received the casting offer, and Yeo Jin-goo is currently reviewing it.
Earlier, IU is also reportedly reviewing the offer for the female lead role..
Yeo Jin-goo is courted to portray the hotelier who will manage the mysterious Hotel del Luna due to an extreme twist of fate. He is set to meet the hotel’s CEO Jang Man-wol (role offered to IU), a beautiful but cold-hearted woman who has been under a curse for over 1,000 years as a punishment for her wrongdoing.
The drama is written by Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran, collectively known as the Hong Sisters (Hwayugi, Master’s Sun), and directed by Oh Choong-hwan (While You Were Sleeping, My Love from the Star).
It is slated to air on tvN in the second half of the year.
