Life on Mars lead stars Jung Kyung-ho and Park Sung-woong have both been confirmed to join Lee El (Matrimonial Chaos), and rising actress Lee Seol (Less Than Evil) in the upcoming tvN fantasy drama “When the Devil Calls Your Name” (literal title).
When the Devil Calls Your Name will tell the life story of hotshot songwriter Ha Rip (role to portrayed by Jung Kyung-ho), who sold his soul to the devil in exchange for wealth and fame. He will have to fight for his life as his contract with the devil is set to expire. He later finds out that the money and success handed to him by the devil was apparently stolen from the supposed future of a young girl, and decides to restore his original life and bring everything back to the way they were meant to be.
Park Sung-woong is set to portray the devil-possessed top actor Mo Tae-gang whom Ha Rip sold his soul to. Meanwhile, Lee El takes on the role of Ha Rip’s agency Soul Entertainment’s CEO-slash-confidante. Lee Seol is set to appear as the girl victimized by all these selfish shenanigans, Lee Kyung. Ha Rip will help her restore what was supposed to be her life.
The drama will be helmed by director Min Jin-ki (Circle) and written by No Hye-young (Come Back, Mister). It is scheduled for broadcast on tvN in the first half of the year.
