Lee Dong-gun (Angel’s Last Mission: Love) and Jeon Hye-bin (Liver or Die) have both been confirmed to star in the upcoming Korean adaptation of the US drama “Leverage.”
The remake called “Leverage: Con Artists” (literal title). It revolves about the life of insurance fraud investigator-turned-scam mastermind Lee Tae-joon (to be portrayed by Lee Dong-gun), who forms a team of high tech con artists he once caught to steal from wealthy criminals and corrupt businessmen. Jeon Hye-bin will take on the role of Hwang Soo-kyung, a multi-lingual A-lister con artist and an over-the-top terrible actress wannabe in real life. She only disappears effortlessly into a character only during a con act.
Kim Sae-ron (Secret Healer) was also reported to be in talks for the drama.
The drama is set to premiere on October 13 on TV Chosun.
