Yoona (The King in Love) has now been confirmed to join the cast of the upcoming jtbc office drama “Hush” (working title). The drama is also set to be Hwang Jung-min’s (The Spy Gone North) anticipated return to the small screen after eight years.
Hush is based on the novel “Silence Warning” (literal title) by Jung Jin-young, which depicts the daily routine and predicament of print journalists. The drama focuses on their lives as employees, rather than being just reporters.
Yoona will play the role of Lee Ji-soo, a bold and blunt intern reporter. Hwang Jung-min is set to portray the role of her mentor, Han Joon-hyuk, who will motivate the heroine to dream of becoming a real journalist.
The drama is scheduled to air in the second half of 2020.
