Ong Seong-wu (At Eighteen), Shin Ye-eun (Meow: The Secret Boy), Kim Dong-jun (Chief of Staff 2), and Block B’s P.O (Hotel del Luna) have confirmed their casting in the upcoming drama “Chances of Going from Friends to Lovers” (literal title).
The youth romance drama will tell the story of a photographer and a calligrapher who have held their crush on each other for over 10 years due to a misunderstanding.
Ong Seong-wu will play the lead character Lee Soo, a photographer who loves himself more than anything but will eventually develop feelings for Shin Ye-eun’s character Kyung Woo-yeon, a calligrapher who has been in love with him for 10 years.
Kim Dong-jun has been confirmed in earlier reports to portray the character of On Joon-soo, a wealthy CEO of a publishing company who also falls in love with Kyung Woo-yeon, while Block B’s P.O will play the role of Jin Sang-hyuk, an optimistic and diligent owner of a Korean restaurant.
The drama will be directed by Choi Sung-bum (My ID Is Gangnam Beauty) and written by Jo Seung-hee. It will be aired on jtbc’s Friday-Saturday slot in the second half of 2020.
