Won Jin-ah (Melting Me Softly) and SF9’s Kim Ro-woon (Extraordinary You) have both been confirmed in the jtbc drama adaptation of “Sunbae, Don’t Put on That Lipstick” (literal title).
The drama is an office romance based on a popular webtoon, which won best contemporary romance in Yes24’s 2017 Romantic Collaboration competition.
Won Jin-ah takes on the lead character, Yoon Song-ah, a brand marketing officer for a cosmetics company who dreams of having her own makeup brand someday. She doesn’t believe in seeing younger men in a romantic way.
Rowoon will play the character of Chae Hyun-seung, Yoon Song-ah’s straightforward hoobae in the marketing division who will change her perspective in life.
The drama will be written by Chae Yoon and directed by PD Lee Dong-yoon (20th Century Boy and Girl, Fated to Love You). It is currently being planned to air in the first half of 2021.
