Eric Moon (Eccentric Chef Moon), Yoo In-na (Touch Your Heart), Im Joo-hwan (The Game Towards Zero) are all confirmed for the upcoming MBC drama “The Spy Who Loved Me” (literal title).
The drama is about a woman who is married twice, both to secret agents. Yoo In-na will play the role of Kang A-reum, a wedding dress designer who was once married to Jun Ji-hoon, who lives a double life as a travel writer and a secret agent for the Interpol. The couple divorced without A-reum knowing about his life as a spy.
Playing the role of A-reum’s second husband Derek Hyun is Im Joo-hwan. He is a warm person who also lives a double life as a diplomat and a top industrial spy.
The drama will be the first small screen drama by movie scriptwriter Lee Ji-min (The Age of Shadows, Forbidden Dream). It will be helmed by PD Lee Jae-jin (The Banker).
“The Spy Who Loved Me” is scheduled to air in October and will take over MBC’s Wednesday and Thursday 9:30 PM time slot after When I Was The Prettiest.
