The weekend drama revolves around the lives of the people living at a house called Samkwang Villa that is managed by Lee Soon-jung (to be played by Jeon In-hwa). It aims to portray the different relationships of people who started off as strangers and eventually become friends while living together in the household.
Jin Ki-joo was earlier reported to play the lead role of Lee Bit Chae-woon, Lee Soon-jung’s eldest daughter. Bona will be her younger sister Lee Hae-deun, a bright and elegant girl on the outside, but at home, she is very lazy. Ryeo Woon will play as their youngest brother Lee Ra-hoon, a delivery boy who hides about his supposed college education from his family.
Kim Sun-young takes on the role of Lee Soon-jung’s younger sister Lee Man-jung, a doctor living with her sister in the villa. In Gyo-jin will appear as the trot singer Kim Hwak-se, a part-time DJ at a club and is called by Lee Soon Jung’s children “uncle.” Jeon Sung-woo and Kim Shi-eun will both appear as tenants of Samkwang Villa.
Love Blooming House will be directed by PD Hong Seok-ku (My Only One) and written by Yoon Kyung-a. It is scheduled to take over the Saturday and Sunday time slot in September as the follow-up to Once Again.
