Jung Woo (Reply 1994) and Oh Yeon-seo (Love With Flaws) are both cast in KakaoTV original drama “Crazy Person in the Area” (literal translation).
The healing drama revolves around two individuals with painful backstories who will fall in love with each other. Jung Woo will play the male lead character No Hwi-oh, a detective at the Gangnam Police Station who is very passionate about his job. An undisclosed incident changed his life forever and made him into a “crazy” person with anger management issues.
Oh Yeon-seo signs on the role of Lee Min-kyung, another “crazy” person who was molded by her past. She may appear as a sophisticated career woman, but an unfortunate incident also made her have trust issues. She is now trapped her own delusions.
The drama series will be directed by Lee Tae-gon (Age of Youth, Diary of a Prosecutor).
“Crazy Person in the Area” will have a total of 12 episodes that runs for 25 minutes each. It will broadcast on KakaoTV in the first half of 2021.
