Lee Je-hoon, Esom to fight injustice in new SBS drama

Lee Je-hoon (Where Stars Land) and Esom (Save Me 2) have both been confirmed to lead the upcoming revenge drama “Deluxe Taxi” (literal title).

Kim Eui-sung (Arthdal Chronicles) and APRIL’s Naeun (Hip Hop King) are also reported to join the cast as supporting characters.

The drama will be based on a webtoon about a mysterious taxi service wherein drivers get revenge on behalf of their passengers who are victims of injustice.

Lee Je-hoon is cast as taxi driver Kim Do-gi, a Naval Academy graduate whose mother was murdered by a serial killer. As someone who is intuitive and dauntless, he now works under the Rainbow Taxi Company.

Esom will appear as the passionate prosecutor Kang Ha-na, a beauty and brains type of character who is also very blunt and has the tendency to become violent in times of injustice. Her chase with a missing ex-convict will lead her to meet taxi driver Kim Do-gi.

Kim Eui-sung plays the Rainbow Taxi Company CEO Jang Sung-cheol while Naeun appears as the very competent hacker Go Eun. They all work together to hunt down criminals.

The drama will be directed by Park Joon-woo (Doctor Detective) and written by Oh Sang-ho (Fabricated City, Code Name: Jackal).

Deluxe Taxi” will air on SBS in 2021.
