Hong Eun-hee, Jeon Hye-bin, Go Won-hee, and Kim Kyung-nam have been confirmed to join KBS2’s new weekend drama “Okay Kwang Sisters” (working title).
The drama is a fusion of mystery thriller and drama comedy about an entire family who become murder suspects after their matriarch was killed while in the process of getting a divorce.
Hong Eun-hee will appear as the family’s proud first daughter Lee Kwang Nam. She is always hostile towards her father because of how he treats her mother growing up.
Jeon Hye-bin signs on for the role of the second daughter Lee Kwang-shik, a skilled government employee whose always considerate towards her parents despite not receiving much attention from them.
Go Won-hee is going to be family’s third daughter Lee Kwang-tae, who is said to have an easy-going personality and ranks high in martial arts. She’s never had a full-time job and lives a trendy, happy-go-lucky lifestyle. Lastly, Kim Kyung-nam will play Han Ye-seul, a rock star wannabe who moves to Seoul after quitting school.
Other confirmed cast members include Yoon Joo-sang, Lee Bo-hee, Lee Byung-joon, Choi Dae-chul, Kim Hye-sun, Ha Jae-sook, and Joo Seok-tae.
Directing the drama will be PD Lee Jin-seo (Mandate of Heaven: The Fugitive of Joseon, Babyfaced Beauty, Birth of a Rich Man). Writing for the script is Moon Young-nam (My Rosy Life, Liver or Die).
The will premiere in March 2021 following the conclusion of Homemade Love Story.
